| AirlinersAirlinersAirliners Elan Argosy HS-65-100 Freighter G-BEOZ From the Press Release: "An Argosy freighter has joined the fleet of ELAN which this month (July 1984) became the first overnight delivery system to carry freight by air between the UK, Ireland and Benelux using its own aircraft. The Argosy HS65-100 with an 11,000 kilo payload will operate between East Midlands Airport and Shannon Airport, where ELAN also has its own transit shed for customs inspection under control of its own staff. The company already operates its own 5000 kilo payload Dart Herald, between East Midlands Airport and Maastricht, Holland, and an 18,500 kilo payload Merchantman between the East Midlands and Belfast. The acquisition brings ELAN's fleet to three aircraft and 315 vehicles, operating from 23 depots in the UK, Ireland, Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg.
